Overall purpose

Set the standards of the Ringley Group's front of house.    By this we mean:  Customer care, customer communication, how customers are introduced to other departments.

Monitor workflow planning to ensure that all team members (team is 3 + yourself) are up todate, re-allocating work where necessary.

Co-ordinate the team statistics that are required.   Co-ordinate cover, ie, organise extra shifts from Reception Team to cover holidays, sickness and absence.

Key Tasks

A role creating a cutting edge bespoke estates management application using a combination of technologies including Ruby on Rails, PHP/HTML/CSS/Javascript/Subversion, MySQL and Linux.

We already lead the industry with our on-line Client interface GATEWAYTM and in 2007 launched www.leaseholdersupport.co.uk the UK's 1st on-line accountant and property manager as initiatives alongside our established Chartered Surveying business.

You will work almost exclusively with our MD, who founded the company and is our creative influence. Her mission is to enhance and integrate the www.ringleygroup.co.uk range of websites to build on existing e-business, and via the INTRANET portal to simplify systems and processes to get rid of paper and tie our 5 departments together.

The business is property and we are gearing up to embark on an aggressive acquisition strategy, so its an exciting place to be.

You will need to be able to work with other programmers and be willing to outsource/manage some elements to ensure you and the MD meet the delivery dates set by the Board for certain key phases.
